Graduation Survey
Thanks to everyone for filling out the “Commencement Survey” this week. We had about 120 students and over 80 parents give their feedback. The results were clear as over 80% of students and parents would prefer a face to face ceremony when that is possible.
As a result, we will keep planning for that traditional type of commencement.
All indications we have received related to social distancing and large group gatherings point to those events not happening until later July. So, we are planning on utilizing the football field for the tentative date of Wednesday, July 29. We must continue to follow state guidelines in an effort to keep everyone safe. We are dedicated to having a wonderful ceremony for the Class of 2020.
Also, the All Night Party Committee is dedicated to celebrating seniors, and they are working with us to plan this event!
Light the Field for 2020
On Tuesday, May 19, the lights at the football field will go on in your honor at 8:20 pm (military time of 2020). You and your family will have to remain in your car for this event.

All Night Party
The Senior parents planning this event are still planning to have a great party! Depending on when we are able to have these types of gatherings we will also follow through on this celebration.
Weekly Check-In
Finally, most of you have the credits needed to graduate. However, you still need to check in with your teachers weekly! Let your 2nd hour teacher know that you are fine! A small number of you are working on finishing a class or two. That work must be completed by May 19.
