Kenowa Hills Families:
We hope this finds you all safe and healthy. Especially as we continue in these uncertain times of COVID-19, we want to ensure that not only are our students fed through our meal program, engaged through learning opportunities, but also have resources and information surrounding mental health. Please find valuable information printed in our Mental Health Newsletters below and as always, reach out and ask for help if you or someone you know needs support.
Throughout February and March, Kenowa Hills is ‘going green’ for Mental Health Awareness. It’s been a difficult time for many people; hospitalizations are up, suicide ideation is growing among adolescence, and often times children and adults are feeling isolated and alone.
This initiative is a priority for our Mental Health Team and the district. We will “Paint Kenowa Green” as a visual reminder in our buildings and we will start each day with valuable messages about mental health. We hope to engage students, families, and staff across the district to end the stigma surrounding mental health issues. Follow us on Facebook for more information and helpful tips and help us “Paint Kenowa Green!”

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.PERSONAL MASTERY SPECIAL EDUCATION ENGLISH LEARNERS TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM
