Alpine Elementary News September 25

09/25/20

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe it is almost October! I have been excited to see our students hard at work. In addition, students are continuing to do their best to follow our safety protocols. With that being said, please help our team by continuing to remind your child about our social distancing expectations and the need to wear masks. As students get comfortable and settled into routines, we want to make sure we are always practicing safety.

I am excited to share that due to our drinking fountains being temporarily out of order, we will be getting a water bottle for each student to take back and forth to school each day. It is important that these bottles get washed each night. The Kent District Library has decided to donate one for each child at Alpine Elementary.

Please continue to complete our health screener daily. It is essential this responsibility is taken care of prior to 8:30. If you are not receiving the daily notifications via email or text, please let us know. Our health screener does have an option to select a language other than English if necessary. At the top right hand corner of the screener, there is a drop down feature that allows families to change the language being displayed.

If you have questions or a specific need, please be sure to connect with your child’s teacher or our office for support.

REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
