UPCOMING DATES

September 28 - Photo Retake Day

SCREENING FOR FACE-TO-FACE STUDENTS

All students attending in person must be screened prior to school each day. Parents/Guardians will receive either a text message or email at 5:30a on each school day as a reminder to complete the very simple screener when your child awakes. The electronic screening tool can be completed until 8:30am. Unfortunately, we are unable to change the time of the screening period at this point; however, we are hopeful that we will be able to customize this in the near future. The tool is designed to quickly and accurately identify anybody who should not enter our buildings either because they are experiencing symptoms, or have been in contact with a known case of COVID-19. Please contact the school once the office opens if the screener instructs you to do so. It is imperative parents complete the screener for each of their students every school day prior to coming to school. The daily electronic screener does not need to be completed if your child is not coming to school that day. Thank you for your cooperation and support in completing this daily requirement.

MASKS

Students MUST wear a mask. District provided masks will be distributed on the first day so please send them with their own mask for the first day.

STUDENT IN/OUT

Visitors are not allowed in the office unless it is an extenuating circumstance. If you have to pick a student up early please call ahead to the main office (616) 785-3225. You will then sign your student out in the vestibule and they can leave the building. If a student will be entering late from an appointment or is tardy please leave a voicemail on the attendance online (616) 785-355 #3. They will enter the building upon drop off and a pass then will be issued.

DROP OFF

Doors open at 7:30am. If your student walks or is dropped off, they will enter the main office door. Students are NOT allowed to enter prior to 7:30am.The drop off loop MUST be used at all times. Dropping off on Hendershot and having your student cross the parking lot presents a serious safety issue. For the safety of ALL students, please follow the flow of traffic and use the drop off loop.

The bus loop is for busses ONLY.
In order to avoid crowding, students who ride the bus will NOT be entering through the main office door. Those riding the bus will enter the building daily through doors 3, 4, & 10.

PICK UP

Pick up is to take place using the main entrance doors and by using the drop off/pick up loop. Students are released at 2:17pm.The pick-up loop MUST be used at all times. Parking on Hendershot and having your student cross the parking lot presents a serious safety issue. For the safety of ALL students, please follow the flow of traffic and use the pick-up loop. The bus loop is for busses ONLY. Bus riders will exit the same doors they entered during the A.M. drop off

REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
