ABSENT? Follow These Protocols:

  • Follow your schedule - It is EXTREMELY important that absent students are on Canvas every day that you would normally have class.
  • First look at the AGENDA which is on the home page, to see what you will be missing that day. Any of the work that you see on the agenda that can be done at home needs to be done.
  • If an assignment is marked as (Canvas) after it you will find it in the MODULE.
  • Check in with your teacher via email to turn in anything that needs to be turned in or to ask any clarifying questions.

Screening for Face to Face Students

All students attending in person must be screened prior to school each day EVEN if they are not attending for the day. The tool is designed to quickly and accurately identify anybody who should not enter our buildings either because they are experiencing symptoms, or have been in contact with a known case of COVID-19. Please contact the school nurse, 785-3225 xt. 7306 if the screener instructs you to do so. Thank you for your cooperation and support in completing this daily requirement.

KHMS needs all of your help and cooperation in dropping off and picking students up. We cannot have students dropped off or picked up on Hendershot. It is a huge safety issue, any stopping, parking and U-turns are not permitted. Please communicate this to anyone who is helping with carpooling your students to school, i.e. grandparents, siblings, neighbor etc.

EDUCATION
REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
