COVID Update
From a district high of at one point 17 positive cases and over 90 students and staff quarantined in early November, we now have 2 cases with 2 students quarantined! Please continue to be careful and honest with your child’s wellness each day. Thank you for staying patient and understanding with us as we sort out contact tracing to the best of our abilities after a positive test result. The daily screening tool is still important to track the start of any symptoms for students. If your child is quarantined or learning remotely, we still need and expect you to complete the screener even if they aren’t coming to school! Thank you for those consistently using this tool, and please reach out to our office with issues or concerns.

Mental Health Needs:
With change can come stress and changing the way our education is provided is no exception. We encourage our students, families and staff to take time during these difficult transitions to focus on mental health. The Mental Health Newsletter from November is included again for some tips on how to talk with your students about the stressors they may be facing. Last week Zinser classrooms focused on different mental health topics including relaxation, mindfulness and support systems. If you would like resources for additional mental health support, please reach out to Brooke Davis or Ashley Anderson at Zinser and they can provide you with a number of options.

Lunch Menus:
KHPS is providing FREE breakfasts and lunches through December! Menus are sent electronically and are available at www.khps.org and on the mobile app. If you need a printed copy, please contact the school office. EDUCATION
REDEFINED

Our Personal Mastery educational experience has redefined education and has gained attention around the state and nation. Personal Mastery provides your child with personalized attention from teachers. Instead of teaching to a broad group of students without understanding of their individual strengths and weaknesses, Personal Mastery allows teachers to interact with students individually or in small groups to help them better address their weaknesses. In this way, we strive to help your child reach their full potential.
